Oberon Ducati Dry Clutch Spanner

This Ducati clutch spanner is vital when working on any Ducati dry clutch system. Designed to fit the Standard 12 tooth basket, 48 tooth after-market basket and also most aftermarket slipper clutches includding NGR slipper clutches.

Unlike cheaper options the Oberon spanner holds the centre hub and the outer basket allowing removal and replacement of the centre hub nut with out damaging the basket, plates or hub.

Some DIY mechanics use home made or cheap spanners that don't hold both the hub and basket simultaneously. The pillars on original Ducati aluminum clutch assemblies are easily damaged without the use of a proper spanner.

You may also discover some very cheap clutch basket holding tools on eBay, etc. These tools are held in place by being screwed into your engine side cases. Ducati service personal do not use these tools for good reason as they can irreparably damage your very expensive engine cases.

The Oberon clutch spanners are CNC machined from T6 billet aluminium and are incredibly durable and strong. A red rubber grip is also applied to the handle to enhance both grip and comfort.
