They are specifically suited to high voltage output ignition and coil systems such as Ignitech igntiions and Nology coils.
They should only be used with resistive style spark plugs.
Two layer 8mm silicon jacket for the very best high temperature long life insulation. (Designed to withstand temperatures up to 315º Celsius).

UltraRace leads use crimped on female connectors, rather than the screw in style to ensure the very best long lasting connection.
Our crimped on stainless steel (or zinc plated) spark plug and coil fittings have a vibration proof, spring locking rings to ensure they stay fixed on your spark plugs and ignition coil terminals.

Please note there are three types of coil fittings in popular use.
Male fitting on coil - looks similar to the top of a spark plug. We carry the female fittings for these in stock, so no problem making leads to fit. These are common on modern coils.
Female receptacle on coil with internal screw - When you look into the female receptacle on the coil you will see what looks like a wood screw protruding from the bottom of the fitting. These are designed for a bare spark plug lead to be screwed into them. When ordering just ask for bare wire at the coil end of the leads on your build sheet.
Female clip in receptacle - These were used on early model coils and on things like lawn mowers. They are a poor design and we do not stock clips to fit these. The female clips available eslewhere for this type of coil receptacle are designed only for 7mm diameter spark plug wire and will not work with our 8mm silicon jacket spark plug wire.
