Designed to improve the reliability, efficiency and looks of the original clutch slave cylinder for LC8 engines.
The enhanced piston reduces the heaviness of the original clutch action and brings much relief to aching arms, but most importantly increases the reliability and the life.
KTM clutches are renowned for their heavy operation and the very poor reliability of the original fitment slave cylinders. It is common for the original fitment KTM slave cylinders to fail at 7,000km or less.
Poor reliability of the original fitment KTM cyclinder is due to several design flaws including
Excessively short length pistons that rock in the cylinder bore and cause excessive wear and scoring of the slave cylinder walls
the use of O'rings on the piston rather than square edged piston seals
Upgrading the clutch master cylinder to one that provides easier actuation and greatly enhanced reliability, before the stock one fails and leaves you stranded has become standard practice for many experienced KTM owners.
The units are CNC machined from billet for lightness, strength and precision looks and there are six fantastic colours to choose from.
